How do I manually change my theme?

I don’t have access to the admin panel, anymore. It just comes up white. I’ve tried the recommended solutions I’ve found on the board: removed plugins, etc. Nothing seems to be fixing it.

The only thing I have left is to switch out the theme I d/l’ed. Most likely culprit, I think. But I don’t know how to do that without have access to the admin panel.

    Can anyone help? Please?

    Thanks,

    Ron

  • delete the current theme off your site using your ftp client. before doing so, make sure that you have the default theme available for wordpress to fall back on.

WP will see that the other theme isn’t there, and will fall back to displaying the default.

    You da’ man!

It worked. Now, I can actually start spending time blogging instead of fiddling around with the admin stuff. I think I’ll just pick a nice, tame theme this time.

The theme called “beautiful sunrise” was the one that did me in. Not sure if it was just a fluke or something I did or maybe the theme was to blame, but it’s probably worth mentioning.

I noticed you’re saving a lot of hides on this board.

Thanks and keep up the good work.
