I just transferred my music blog from Blogger, where every post entry created a page like http://myblog.blogspot.com/2006/10/wilco-live-on-npr.html
Using my hosted WordPress theme (blix), every post creates a page pointing to the blog number: http://myblog.com/wordpress/?p=26
I've been told, for SEO purposes to make sure that each blog page includes the title in the url. How do I make sure that the style sheet accommodates this?
Options->Permalinks. Change the permalink structure as you see fit.

Return to the person who told you this and slap them (and if you paid them to tell you that, ask for a refund). There are a lot of reasons to set up a custom permalink structure. A few are actually good reasons, but these days "SEO" is not one of them.
