   I want to create an album of posts, so to speak. The loop would display 1 post only. You would click to see the next previous post. Kind of like previous page, or older post, buttons.

   What php would I need to link each post to the next previous post?

   I'm not sure if what I say here will work, but it is undoable.
   Try going into settings and setting the number of posts per page to 1. save and see if it works.
