• Hello All!

I would like to let users test out my themes without having to create a blog for each individual theme. I have seen and tried the “TEST” or “DEMO” or “PREVIEW” features of other website…..I would like to do the same thing. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated…..

BTW, I tried using the Theme Preview plugin but there is some type of compatibility issue with WPMU.

Thanks in advance for any and all help!!

  • You mgiht try a theme switcher plugin – although these are now for testing exactly

Thanks for the reply. I thought about it, but the theme switcher does not let you see a thumbnail image for scrolling, so clients and guests would have to go through each individual theme to find something that fit their business or taste. Thank you though for getting back to me.

You can do that with a bit of work – by posting the thumbnails, and manually linking them to the theme page, rather than using the list or select box. I think Theme Switcher Reloaded would work for this – I believe it lets you specify a theme in a URL. Don’t quote me, I could be wrong.

Yeah, i thought about doing it that way….but i know for a fact that there are at least 50 other sites doing exactly what I want to do….so someone has the answer to my question….Thanks for the advice though!
