   I have seen alot of blogs with a site stats counter thing how do i install one of those and where do i find such?

   Depends on what type of statistics you mean - statistics on visitors, or statistics on your blog's content.

   Visit counters: I usually use Visit Counter in conjunction with Widgetize Anything. You may have to tinker with the permissions on the Visit Counter plugin. Either 755 or 777 should work.

   Content Statistics: http://lesterchan.net/others/downloads.php - Look for WP-Statistics. It's number 19 on the page. He also has plugins that show the statistics for Post Views, Post Ratings and Users Online. There is also another plugin called Generic Stats

   You can find a few other statistic counters here and here.
