   Hello there-

   I have WordPress through a Yahoo website.

   I am new to WordPress and was told that if I log into my account and then click:
   Presentation

   There would be a few choices one being

   Widgets.

   However the only choice is "Themes."

   How do I please get Widgets to be a choice and then from there have it look like the way I have seen others present themselves with choices to drag and drop for the side bar that the reader would see.

   I also have web hosting through yahoo and have alot of questions on how to do things. I am also struggling with the same question with the widget sidebar and also how to install a new theme. If anyone would please help. That would be great.

   The version of WordPress that your friends at Y! give you is very out of date. 2.0.2 I believe?

   I don't recall much about that versions (aside from security issues?) but I think that was back in the days when you needed the actual widget plugin installed and active to use widgets.

   You probably really want to start with an upgrade. Search around here for "yahoo upgrade" to get a handle on the interesting wrinkles your host might cause.
