I haven't posted in over six months. I don't know how to log in and get to my dashboard. I can view my old posts, but that is all. When I tried to find a password, I was given a new one and wordpress sees me as a new entity which began today. My blog cite is elainedrennonlittle.wordpress.com/ Can you help me become able to post again?

I'm afraid that you've come to the wrong place. Support for using wordpress.com is here:
http://en.forums.wordpress.com/FYI, this forum supports folks who "self-host" WordPress, i.e. - arrange for a web server and install WordPress there, rather than using the free wordpress.com service.

It still doesn't work. I can get to my blog page, but it's like I'm a viewer, not the writer. I'm not retarded, really, though I may sound like it now. I have something I really want to post, and it's like I can't get there at all. I've done everything I've been told to do, but I can't log into my page. WordPress no longer recognizes my email address or the address where my stuff is posted. I don't know what to do - it's like a vicious cycle.

You're in the wrong forum. For WordPress.COM support visit http://en.support.wordpress.com/ instead. This is the support forum for WordPress.ORG self-hosted installations.

Visit the correct forum and perhaps your problem can get resolved.
