How do I get rid of "No Response to" messages? (3 posts)

I've just installed the plugins: CaPa Protect and WP Block Admin. Reason is I needed a way to allow password access to certain sections of the site with parent, child, grand child, great grand child, etc. Everything works great EXCEPT I now get an unwanted message at the bottom of each page saying No Response to "name of page". The only time I don't get this is when I'm logged in as Admin. Any ideas how to get rid of this message? Or does anyone know of another plugin that does the job? NB. I've tried the plugin: FT Password Protect Children Pages - but that only seems to work for children, not grand children.

    Hm.

What are your Settings for CaPa?

I will check out how WP Block Admin works with CaPa

    Hi namja

    Thanks for responding

I haven't changed any of the settings in caPa - apart from, obviously, deselecting some of the pages in Visitors.

However, since I sent the post above I've found a solution, although I guess it only works if you don't want to allow comments. Also, I should warn you that I'm not a programmer, just a dabbling designer - so I don't know if I've done something that will create other problems. Doesn't seem to have caused me any problems, though.

    Here's what I did:

Open comments.php and delete the following text:

    <h3 id="comments"><?php comments_number(__('No Responses', 'kubrick'), __('One Response', 'kubrick'), __('% Responses', 'kubrick'));?> <?php printf(__('to “%s”', 'kubrick'), the_title('', '', false)); ?></h3>

    Thats it!
