How do I get my quote box to wrap around a picture? (5 posts)

    If you take a look at my blog (http://jpsblog.org/blog/), you'll see that whenever I have a picture next to a quote, the theme extends the quote box behind the picture.

    Is there some sort of styling edit I can make so that whenever I input a picture, the quote box will automatically shorten itself lengthwise to accommodate the picture? Thanks!

    You can't make a quote box automatically shorten itself lengthwise to accommodate the picture. How is it supposed to do that? Reduce the text size dynamically? Or reduce the amount of text displayed? On the web, boxes/elements extend to enclose the text within them - including blockquote boxes.

    Since your images are likely to vary in width, the only option is to add inline style to the blockquote element - on a case-by-case basis - using the HTML tab.

    <blockquote style="margin-left:nnpx">

    where nn = the width of your left floated image plus another 20 or so pixels. Use margin-right when placing blockquotes near right floated images.
