How do I get Collapsing Sidebar widget to work?

    There is an existing sidebar widget for footer and right sidebar but I can’t get the collapsing sidebar widget to show up unless i include get sidebar and then both the collapsing sidebar and the inherited sidebar shows up. What am I doing wrong?

    I place the following code in the functions area:
