Hi, I've been googling away and searched the forums but couldn't find anything that showed how to get a shadow around top, left right and bottom of blog content, over a background image.

The effect I'm looking to create is shown here: http://www.sitetutor.com/ (although I want my shadow to be a bit thicker!)

    My blog is here: http://www.purposebuilt.co.uk

I've come across css methods and image templates but not sure how to approach it - I'm new to web design and very new to css!!!

    Any help will be appreciated!!!

    Thanks!!!

You will have to create the shadow images in your choice of graphics program, then use commom CSS border attributes to make them appear where desired. It works similar to the way you create text boxes with rounded corners. CSS on its own cannot make a shaded border effect.

Thanks Saurus. Do you know of any good tutorials that I'd be able to get my head round?
