The Events Calendar plugin looks like just what our client needs, but they would like a sidebar widget which a mini-calendar view, with days that have events on them in bold. (Almost exactly like the default Calendar widget does for days with posts.)
After installing the plugin, I see a "Events List Widget" on my Widgets admin page, but no other TEC widgets. (Did I mangled the install somehow?)
If it isn't available with the regular plugin, has anyone done a widget like this?
It also seems like I have seen a custom "Calendar" widget somewhere that would let you filter by category/post_type--if I could find something like that, would that work with the TEC custom post type?
We are using the latest TEC version
