I have just put up my own blog on my own server, and I've managed (thanks to some guides and google) to throw in a "Tweet this post" and "Share on Facebook" button in the posts.
I also managed to generate automatic tinyurl's (and tr.im when I tried that also) but i need some explanation around this problem:
I would like to generate an automatic tr.im (or similar) url for my posts, like I've done now, but I want that URL to be included in the Twitter and Facebook-buttons, if you know what I mean.
An example: Any posts on smashingmagazine.com - the short url is automatically included in the "share-buttons" instead of the permalink.
Anyone who can explain me how to do this - or point me in the right direction?
