Have you been editing this file media.php? If not then there might be some plugin conflict. Try deactivating all plugins and check if this error still exist.
Next, if it’s still exits. While the plugins are deactivated, re-install wordpress. Just go to dashboard > updates and click the reinstall button. That should fix some missing files while you were manually installing wordpress.
But if you did edit the media.php, its means you forgot to “close” the code. Open the file using a code editor. Then go to line 1185 on your code. It might be a missing semi-colon ; or missing bracket }
i cant get into anywhere because this is the first setup
If you can’t login, you’ll need to access your site using FTP – start by deactivating all plugins – see:

@tom101_12, you need to reupload the files again. There might be some missing files. That is why as mush as possible I use one-click installs on my server’s cpanel. Like fantastico or simplescripts. To avoid missing files while manually uploading.
