   I need an API Key to activate Aksimet. Hostgator support said I needed to log into my WordPress account to get it. The problem is I forgot my password and email address for the WordPress account and don't know how to get into it to get the Key. I can get into my blog dashboard but I guess that doesn't work. Anybody have a suggestion?

   Hi,

   You can open an account at wordpress.com and get API Key from there and use that key in your blog to configure Aksimet...

   I have an account but still cannnot find my API key. Where do I look? cameronjacks on wrod press

   Hi,

   If you have open an account then they will send you the email with API key. If you did not receive it then login into wordpress.com account and click on profile page where you can get it..

   I have two WordPress blogs and I wish to add Aksimet to both of them. But I did not get an API key when I signed up and when I follow the online instructions and go to my profile page of each blog I do not see my API as I am told I will. So how do I get one?

   You need to log into wordpress.COM

   That is where your profile is.

   If you two blogs are wordpress.com blogs you need to contact them.

   This is wordpress.org.

   I have a self-hosted WordPress.org blog and cannot find my API key under my profile. Any suggestions?

    i also have selfhosted wordpress blog and i found my api key at http://akismet.com/personal/. Its working enjoy guys... :)
