    Hi,
    Like this plug in but need to Anglicise it for my UK site.

    Would like to remove 'Street, City and State' boxes from from 'Find Locations Near' search bar and need to change 'Zip' to read 'Postcode'

    Tried contacting the developers through their site bit their feedback form keeps crashing at Captcha!

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

    I had the same issue but it seems there is no option in the admin panel to do that.
    One option is to remove all the search fields: In SimpleMap settings under Map Style Defaults you can check 'No' for the Display Search Form option.
    Then use a widget, which you can set up to display only Postcode to search.

    Another option is to use css to hide each search option you like:
    E.G. `.location_search_street_cell{
    display:none;
    }`
    To hide the street search cell.

    Thanks!

    I don't particularly want to mess around with the css so would prefer to use the widget. Can't locate it though. Where can I download it from? And can it be pasted into the main body of the page. I need to locate it directly above the map.

    The widget is included in the plugin.
    Just add to your sidebar from Appearance->widgets.
    You can use thisto put a widget on a page if you don't want to code. (never used this myself though)

    Thanks...I can't include it in the side bar as I lose the side bar in my mobile theme and 80% of my traffic is mobile!

    That's a neat idea that widget but I can't get it to work and again it won't let you change zip to postcode! Anyway of customising the code so it displays 'postcode' instead of 'zip' in the normal search plug in or am I opening up a right can of worms there?

    Shame because it's a great little plug in but no good for the UK! Emailed the developer for days - no response! Would sign up for their premium support but if they can't respond to 4 emails....
