I just installed WP and made two posts. After the second one, I checked to see how it looked and it was appearing below the first (older) post.
I looked through the dashboard/settings and saw nothing to the effect of "Display most recent at top" or "Show latest entries first".
Am I just overlooking something? Do you need a plugin? Will I have to edit the theme?
Please help. Thanks!
I'm sure there's another thread on here, but I can't find it. A link please?
There shouldn't be anything you have to do to get your latest posts appearing first. Perhaps a link to your site would help someone to work out what's happening.

Sorry. Here ya go.

Perhaps it's simply a problem with certain themes?
Have you tried switching to the default theme to confirm that it's theme-specific?
If you do change to the WordPress Default theme as suggested by Technokinetics, and the problem persists, it could be part of the know problem with MySQL 5.0.51--if so talk to your host about upgrading MySQL.
It was the theme.
I checked it once earlier, but didn't post anything new, just expected the previous entries to "sort" themselves.
Apparently after you make an entry with a corrupt theme, the timestamp will never be recognized correctly. Great. Time to rewrite some stuff with a functional theme. :)
Is there any good doc on ensuring you don't encounter this known problem when theme'ing for yourself?
Thanks a lot guys.
