    Check this site out:
    http://hugsformonsters.com/
As you can see his home page is his content rather than his actual blog.
He has a link that directs the visitor to his word press blog.
I've managed to do the same with mine.
Except I have 2 different word press installations on my website.
One under the root directory and one under public_html/blog
There has to be an easier way to do this..
    Please Help.

There is. WordPress has two basic types of content built in. One is "posts" and the other is "pages".

Under Settings -> Reading in your administration area, you have the option to set a "static page" as your Front Page and a different static page as your "Blog" page.

If you create a "page" with the content you want displayed on your home page, you can set that new page as your "Front Page". Then, create an empty page called "Blog" and set that as your "Blog" page. That way, your static content will appear on your home page, and your posts will appear on your blog page.

    Wonderful.
    And very simple.
I've seen tutorials that have some php involved.
It was too hard to understand.
Very happy there is a simpler way to do this :)
    Thank you!

    There is a problem...
I created a Home page and set it as static font page
and the posts are under /blog

when i view my site there are 2 home links...
and they both direct the visitor to the same page..

I just want one link as the home page. not 2

How is your menu configured? Is it set up using the Menus option under the "Appearance" menu? If so, you can simply remove one of them from the custom menu.

If not, you can try installing the Page Link Manager plugin and removing one of the links from navigation menus.

the menu is used with the wp list pages ,

If it's using the wp_list_pages() function to show the menu, the Page Link Manager plugin I mentioned above should help you out. I've used it quite a few times for that exact reason.
