• I’ve read the Codex article on enabling referrers, but in my case, we cannot use the suggestions given.

I’ve set up a set of private blogs for my moderators. The blogs are behind an htaccess protected directory so it’s a closed group of people and no fear of someone hacking into our blog admin controls.

Two of our mods are not able to use the admin features (changing themes, deleting comments, etc) due to the “enable sending referrers” error messages and for various reasons, they are not able to adjust their firewalls to accomodate this.

At this point, we’d like to know if it’s possible to hack the WordPress to allow usage of admin features without the need for sending referrers?
