How do I disable a plug-in on the back end? (2 posts)

    So... I did what I usually NEVER DO...which is auto update wordpress and all my plugins at once... I know nothing, ok, lemme restate that as 'very little' about php. So, I'm getting an error on a plugin I actually dont use, and not sure why its activated. Is there a way I can go in and confuse WP to no longer look a the file?---this has caused my admin dash to dissapear too... :(

    NVm, I didn't realize it was just as safe for me to just go and delete the folder, haha! I thought id have to deactivate it from the DB.
