   Hello,

   I use the standalone version of WordPress (v2.2.1). It is installed in my root directory:

   http://www.abolitionistapproach.com/index.php

   When I login to my WordPress.com account -- for using "WordPress.com Stats" -- I see two instances of my blog:

   1. http://www.abolitionistapproach.com/wordpress/
   2. http://www.abolitionistapproach.com/

   The first instance:

   http://www.abolitionistapproach.com/wordpress/

   does not exist! Thus, my question, how do I go about removing the http://www.abolitionistapproach.com/wordpress/ blog instance?

   P.S., I have never used WordPress.com for anything other than generating the API Key required for "WordPress.com Stats" and Akismet.

   P.P.S., I don't have a 404.php error page installed so going to:

   http://www.abolitionistapproach.com/wordpress/

   will *appear* like it's there... But it's not!

   That's a question we'd all love to know. I asked weeks ago, in various places, and not a single reply.

   Maybe the PTB are clueless too...?

   If you find one, post it back here.

   I'd probably ask .com support over at wordpress.com/forums.

   I know it sounds like a run-around, but I sure haven't any insight to offer on the innards of WordPress.com!
