• Hi. I’d like to know how I can copyright all of my posts on my blog. I am far from being a “technology geek”; in fact, I have severe learning disabilities and have trouble following even relatively simple instructions. When it comes to technology, I might as well be three years old. So if you could be kind enough to answer this question in a way that even a technology-challenged guy like myself can understand it, I would certainly appreciate it.

By the way, where it asks for the “version” of WordPress on this form, I have no idea. I don’t even know how to find out.

Thank you in advance, and please, if you possibly can, could you answer my question about copyrighting my posts in a way that a kindergarden student could understand it? (Even though I’m intelligent; I just have difficulty with technology, partly because of the generation that I grew up in, and partly because of my learning disabilities.)

    Thank you.

All you can really do is add a copyright notice to your site somewhere. Perhaps in the footer or sidebar using a Text widget. After that, it’s really just down to how/if you pursue any breaches of copyright. There is no technical way to protect your content – other than not publishing it on the Web in the first place.

Navigate to your Dashboard and look in the Right Now pane.
