    This is my website link:

    http://www.MYWEBSITE.com/index.php/aa

I want to change it to:

    http://www.MYWEBSITE.com/aa.html

    How do I do this?

I can not write the the .htaccess file because the server does not let us. I could ask him to do this for me, but I do not know what to forward over to him.

Is there a way to do this without writing to the .htaccess file?

http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks should help you to figure out how to fix this.

And please spend some time and check out the great documentation about WordPress on that site. There is much there that can help answer your questions, too.

Root, the link example they are giving isn't meant to be to an actual site. It's an example. It isn't the page of the poster. If that is what you are asking.

I just sent an email to my webhosting asking if he would ad the proper stuff to the .htacess file, but is there a way around writing to this file?

In order for my web host provider to do this for me, what would I tell him to do? I'll just forward this page to him.

Do it yourself following the instructions in the article I just gave you. It's very easy.

Some webhosting services won't do this for you without extra fees. Do it yourself.
