   This is a stupid question maybe...

   I want to make a post, but only have the first paragraph, or a teaser, appear on the front page so they have to click through to read the whole thing.

   Click the more button or insert <!--more--> in code view where you want the post to break on the front page and insert a link to the rest of the post.
