How do I access my ftp client?
How did you install WordPress initially? Did you have to upload and configure the files manually? Or was it through your webhost and/or an interface such as CPanel?
Ok, then more than likely you used a program (an FTP client) to access your account in order to upload the WordPress files.
Simply move your files from /blog/ to the root (default) directory on your webhost.
I’m having major problems… is there any way I can give you access to my account and send you some cash via PayPal to take care of it?
Nitallica…. you still there?
Hey, sorry. I had to go off last night, I’ll be back on in a few hours after I get home.
I need to do the same thing, did this method actually work? Someone confirm and i´ll do the same…cheers
The answer I posted above does indeed work 🙂
Awesome bamassippi, it appears you got it alright. Or with the help of Nitallica, not really sure which. But, yeah like podz said is the “short and sweet” way of doing it lol. =) Well compared to the long and full detailed version of mine that I had before lmao! I guess sometimes it all depends on who you’re talking with to… Glad to see it’s up and working. =)
