How do I change the footer info for the attitude theme?

    Hello,

    I hope someone can help me with this. I have created an attitude child theme and I am currently trying to edit the footer information. I have created a blank function.php and made changes in that file,but I still hadn’t had any luck editing the footer. Can someone point me in the right direction? Am I skipping a step?
