   Hi
   I am also having trouble with installing plugins because i don't understand what hostname is! Also user name and password for what account. I have tried every combination so far without luck! I think it's the hostname that is the problem, i am trying the username and password i entered when i set up wordpress on my hosting company. Any ideas? Thank you!

   Hosting: http://ftp.your_domain.com
   Name: your_ftp_name_account
   pass: your_ftp_pass

   Usually your main account name and pass in your hosting control panel its your ftp pass and name (not your name/pass in wordpress), though it could be different depending on the hosting company; may be you need to setup an FTP account.
