    I was wondering if somebody could help me in changing my wordpress website from http://www.nosh-home.com to http://www.thesource-uk.net. I have researched how to do it but I am still confused and could do with more of a breakdown of the process.

    Thanks

    I feel extremely stupid as i am unsure on what to do in order change everything.
    I changed my site url the other day although I lost the website and couldn't log back on. I managed to sort it in the end but I am a bit apprehensive to make the same mistake again. Please could you help me a bit more and give me some guidance, as this is the first time I have had to change the URL/domain.

    first, try the wp-config.php option. It should be pretty easy. wp-config.php should be located in your WP root folder. Before you modify the file, make backup of it, in case.

    1. What have added to the wp-config.php ?
    2. Where in that file have you added?

    Try adding above the "stop editing" so it looks like this:
    define('WP_HOME','http://www.thesource-uk.net');
    define('WP_SITEURL','http://www.thesource-uk.net');

    /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */
