From phpMyAdmin, what are optimal settings.
    The Codex contradicts itself.

In one section, it says to leave all the Data Section unticked.
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Backing_Up_Your_Database

Leave the boxes inside this section unticked, but make sure to keep the checkbox next to the "DATA" heading checked.

In another section, it says to check certain boxes.
    http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups#cPanel
it has an illustration where 2 of the Data sections are ticked:

    1. Complete Inserts
    2. Use hex for binary fields

So why the difference, does it really matter, and what's the best way...

    Thanks

thanks but I don't use any plugins...particularly for something as critical as a backup.

I'm looking for the optimal way through cpanel/phpMyAdmin. I've done dozens of backups and restores...just want to know what's recommended - codex gives two different versions of the truth.

For example, complete inserts...is it necessary???
I think I might answer my own question..
"Complete inserts" adds the column names on every INSERT command, for better documentation (but resulting file is bigger).
