imekulI have a self-hosted WP blog, and I'm trying to figure out the best/easiest/fastest way to take a video on my Android phone (.m4v format) and embed it into a new WordPress post.
Currently, I can use the YouTube app to upload a video to YouTube. That works fine, but I would have to manually copy and paste the embed code into a new WP post.
I have also used the WordPress Android app to upload the video. While that physically copies the video to the server, and seems to "try" to embed it into a post, the video doesn't show up. Instead, I get a white box where the video would be, and right-clicking it gives me a "Movie not loaded..." message.
I would imagine that some sort of encoding is necessary, to turn the .m4v into a FLV file or something else. I'm just looking for some form of one-touch video adding, where I can do it all on my phone -- record the video, upload it, write some text, and -- voila -- it's live and embedded for all to see.
Is anybody aware of anything??
