   I am a real novice and have no concept about how to add the jpg image of my logo to my header.
   Do I need to copy and paste the image into my WordPress file (Sharepointlike) somewhere, and then add a URL link to it in the style file or the header.php file?
   I am completely lost here and if anyone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

   in header.php remove the php function that calls for site name and replace it with image tag, you'll find it in div called header.
