   I am using theme Twenty Ten, I would like to know how to add at the bottom of every page the typical footer that allows people to go to pages about "privacy policy" "contact us" "about us" etc...

   dashboard - appearance - widgets

   pick one of the "footer" widget areas
   drag a text widget to it
   put whatever url/links you want in it

   Thanks, now problem I'm having is that I can't get url/link to work. It appears as text. Can you help?

   and you're using correct html?
   like
   <a href="http://example.com/contact">Contact Us</a>

   Thanks, it works now. I wasn't using the correct html.
