How would I add custom fields to bbPress topics? I'd like to be able to add a field for "location", and "date of ride offered", hopefully in a dropdown list, and a couple other custom fields. I'd like to be able to display and write conditional statements using those custom fields just like I can display WordPress custom fields. How would I do this? I've looked everywhere and it looks like I might be SOL. What do you think?

Posted 6 months ago #Hi iftomkins. I'm working on the same problem - I need some custom fields added to the bbpress topic post. I've found some hints and ideas on the bbpress site, but nothing that looks like a ready-made plugin to solve the problem.
I'll post here if I find anything helpful or solve the problem myself.

Posted 6 months ago #Hey cparkinson! I did find a plugin, but it's a pay plugin, and I haven't tested it yet. I set up a demo of it with the owner, and I'll let you know how it goes and if it's worth it.
