Support » Fixing WordPress » How do I add a missing setting to my admin menu

I just transferred my WordPress.com site to my server. I downloaded the files from wordpress.org and have everything setup.

I am noticing somethings are different in my admin section.

    1. I am missing Settings > Sharing option that was on my wordpress.com site. This allowed me to easily enable share services within my post.

Is there a way to restore that option?

  • Not all features available on WordPress come as standard with WordPress.org.
You might need to install a plugin to enable that feature.

I’m not very familiar with WordPress.com, but I see that Jetpack has a sharing option. I would start with trying that out. I think that might be the same one used on WordPress.com.

Thank you ~ That enabled alot of the things I was looking for.

Perfect, glad that helped. I’ll mark this post as resolved, but if you have any more issues, please don’t hesitate to come back and ask.
