how could a plugin not show up?

    what could be the cause of a plugin not to show up in plugin area?

    either if you are writing it or it is written by other people that people are using it and you know that it works.

    I have read the follow up of how to make a plugin to see what could cause such a thing,
    could not find any,

    anyone can give me a clue? please.

    It could be incorrect permissions, or incorrect owner/group. Look at what a working plugin has, and copy that. Do it for both the files and folder it’s in.
