    Hi
    I am currently developing my first theme, everything was going well until I uploaded the theme. The theme worked but the footer was placed right under the first post(ignoring my sidebars:

    __________________________________________________________________________
    ContentContentContentContentContentContentContentContentContentContentCont
    sidebar
    sidebar
    sidebar
    ______________________________________footer______________________________
    sidebar
    sidebar

    the footer stopped at the content. I tried creating a container around everything and give it 100% height and it worked however my single and page templates were all messed up after I did this.

    In conclusion:
    How do I get my header to stick to the the bottom of my page?

    Are the elements above it floated? If so, you might need to clear them - try having an empty cleared div above the footer like so:

    <div class="clear"></div>

    and then in the CSS:

    .clear {
            clear: both;
            }

    Doesn't seem to work... the footer is still stuck to the content.

    It should.
    (and edit your profile, you cannot have 2 URLs in the same line)
    Have a link to what you are trying to do?
