   I am wondering how I can use an image in place of the page that WordPress makes and have it printed in.

   Something like this: http://www.localmobilemonopoly.com/

   How can images be wider than the page is like this as well?

   Create a new page template in your theme. In this page's loop, refer to the page's feqatured image via the_post_thumbnail.

   Write your page, add featured image, apply template. should work?
