Probably it’s time to upgrade 🙂
i’m still running v 2.1.3.

have i to follow only these steps: http://codex.wordpress.org/Upgrading_WordPress ?

You won’t like this answer but since you haven’t upgraded in a long time you’ll want to do an incremental upgrade. Concise instructions in this thread,

is it ok: 2.1 -> 2.2 -> 2.3 -> 2.5 -> 2.6 -> 2.7,
or do i need all subversions in the middle?
