how can I synchronise my blog data/files between localhost and online-server

I’m used to modify all website stuff through my localhost. But when I uploaded blog files or update sql files to online MySQL database, conflict occured as the localhost url had been set up. In this case, I had have to re-install the blog again.

Can anyone suggest which table(s) stored the blog_host information? So I can adjust that field to my online host URL before uploading new tables or rows from localhost.
