    Hi,
Thought i had found an awesome bit of work here, still nicely done Corey :). But i just have one problem. All the items i have added to the 'bottom of my posts' now also appear within the blog roll excerpt/summary on this page http://www.footstepsofjim.com/blog/

Please can someone offer some advice as to how to fix this, would be much appreciated

    Thanks

Hi Corey, thanks for the reply, but unfortunately it doesnt work. I am still getting all the content appearing after the post summaries, i have refreshed the page many times after changing the code, in case it was still cached.

    Hope you can help

    Jimmy:

I finally had a chance to look around regarding your situation, and I think I figured it out.

If you select a static Page as your frontpage (see is_front_page()), this tag will be applied to your "posts page".

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/is_home

So, instead of !is_home(), try !is_front_page().

If this works, please mark this topic as resolved.

Hi Corey, thanks again for looking into this, but unfortunately it still doesn't work...
My front page is set to a static page, but the front page i have set to the 'welcome' page (see along top toolbar of website), not to the blogroll / posts page, so i dont know if that would help with an alteration to the code? what else would you suggest if this is not the case?

    hope you can help buddy?

    Mucho thanks

Try a different theme. Change your home page to the blog. Deactivate other plugins.
