   I have 3 link categories. How can i put down first category? is it possible to do it from admin panel? Thanks!

   You could use
   http://wiki.wordpress.org/get_links_list
   to order the categories by id or name.
   If you need to order the categories in an arbitrary order, the workaround is to have a few extra preceding spaces (Starting with one space) in the name of the link category.

   How do you organize links so they fall into a particular order. Right now my list is done by id, but in reverse order. I need to change that so link 1 is first, 2 2nd and so forth?

   Is this going to be fixed in the next release? Seems like a pretty basic feature, and to have to hack it to get such simple functionality seems like a bit much. :|
