   I see the plugins on google are very old.
   And I wasn't able to find anythin on the repository ?

   Is there a plugin I am missing ?

   I think this thread may be able to help you.... (it does a little more than you are asking, but you may be able to adjust the code)

   You can just query your page requesting the author...

   example.com/?author_name=name
   or
   example.com/?author=ID

   Pretty sure at least one of those should work...

   As long as the query var is a public query var (can't find a link for that right now) you can just query for it...
