How can I set up a WP site with multiple blogs

Hello,

I’m setting up a Author’s site with various pages and I want to have three blogs on this site:
1. Sci-fi blog
2. Windows and Office Tips and Tricks
3. Status of the next book

First, is this possible. If so, well, I’m not even sure yet how to setup a single blog. I’ve created a page called Blog and used the blog template but I’m not sure that’s all that’s needed. Is there a plugin for this? Is there a good video tutorial on setting up a blog?
