   I want the home page to be the corporate layout.
   But when i click on the homepage button, i get a blog kind of page.

   I've tried to set the homepage as static page.
   When i set it to static page, the three boxes disappear and the slider stays

   And not to forget many thanks for this great theme!I really love it.

   Please read the instruction available here
   Read the third point that says "c. Corporate Layout for Home Page"

   Hope this helps.
