[resolved] How can I remove the date stamp on the home page? (3 posts)

Hi - thanks for a great theme.

I just started using Bouquet, and I'd prefer that the posts not show the date posted. I managed to remove it on the posts themselves, by taking of f the function in the "single post" file. But it's still showing on the home page, even after I removed it in the "content.php" file also. What should I do?

    The site is: http://navigatingtheshidduchcrisis.com/

    Thanks!
    Aviva

I don't see any dates visible on the home page. If you still see them, be sure you've cleared your browser cache. Also know that making changes to theme files is not recommended -- rather use a child theme -- otherwise all your changes will be overwritten when your theme is updated.

    Hi Aviva,

I had a look on your website. It seems like the date you're refering to is at the bottom of the post next to tags?

Wpyogi is definetly right that a child theme is the way to go since not working with one will create some problems when new (safety) updates for wordpress and the theme come out.

There are many ways to remove that one of them is edit the core of your website. However im using the 'WP DATE REMOVER' Plug-in myself.

    Maybe that will help?

    Warm regards,

    Seb
