    well, are you using the menu generator from in the admin area?

    You just add tabs, drag and drop. You have to first create a menu to be used if you haven't done so already. Then add away

    As for adding an image, thats a bit more complicated....but shouldn't be too hard

    Each tab after creating, automatically gets a class assigned to it. So I guess I would create a tab to hold the rss icon with the link pointing to your rss feed (not sure if tabs can have blank titles, I've never tried it) but once the tab is created and on the menu, view your source code from within the browser. Find out the class assigned to that rss tab, and in your css add a background image.

    for instance, in my source code, looking at the menu I see

    <li id="menu-item-1023" class="menu-item menu-item-type-custom">

    so adding

    #menu-item-1023 {
          background-image: url('images/rss.gif') no-repeat;
          }

    would add the icon to the tab. (assuming I have an image called rss.gif in the images folder of my theme)

    hi RVoodoo,

    I tried for a few hours, bot no image shows up.

    This is what I have;
    In the menu that I generated from the admin area has an item called "connect". class assigned to this tab is
    <li id="menu-item-79" class="menu-item menu-item-type-custom">

    Then in my style.css file I added:

    #menu-item-79 {
          background-image: url('images/rss-icon.gif') no-repeat;
          }

    But no luck. I no the image exit in the theme's images folder.

    Please tell me where I am making mistake.

    Thanks

    Hi.
    i'm looking for the same thing and i was wondering if this solution is working.
    BTW - how do i find the class id name of each tab in the nav-menu ?
    the only thing i found in the source code is: "tab tab-1", "tab tab-2" etc.

    thanks :)
