   How can I make it so Contributors can only post in a certain, assigned category, without having to change it everytime?

   Is this possible and how can it be done.

   You could make whatever category you want them to post to be the default category. That is if you want them all to post to the same one... other than that, I'm not sure.

   Just a thought.

   Yes, I want all the Contributors to be able to post in the same assigned category.

   How can I make it "default" for them?

   search these forums for the limit categories plugin. That, perhaps combined with the Role Manager plugin ought to get you what you want.
