    How can I limit the characters of the posts in the categories and tags

    at present it is showing full content of the post in the category and tags I ma using wordpress (Version 2.8.6)

    when I post the a new post in a particular category it shows full content of post and in tags also

    how can I set limit of characters 256 of posts in tags and in categories

    can any body help me…. see just like http://en.wordpress.com/tag/christmas-tree/
