I am in the beginning stages of moving to wp (self hosted) from blogger. A friend of mine just told me she had to re-import all of her images when she moved last week. I'm hoping there is a way around it - I've been blogging for over a year!

Alas ... no. Blogger has issues with it :/ (Basically Blogger prevents the importer from pulling in the images)

Oh - someone in another forum said that if I first imported to a wordpress.com blog and then to wordpress.org my photos would transfer. True? No?

I don't know... You could try? I mean wordpress.com blogs are free! :)
