I had a previous post going, but it seems I can’t post in there anymore.

The following is a link to what I am capable of doing with my server and it says that I should be able to run wordpress somewhere other than the root….
Is there something in a file I need to alter to direct wordpress to the logging into my server correctly?

You can just install wordpress in the folder you want, or you can set up permalinks so that it’ll be located in a subdirectory.

I think there’s a question about installing into a subdirectory, but then automatically pushing people to WP — if you set up the permalinks, do the rewrite rules get set on the subfolder or the root?

Was your original thread (that you posted 4 days ago and got the best answer we could give you) not good enough? So, you didn’t like the answer and thought you’d come back in four days and hope that no one noticed? Did you actually try contacting your hosting provider?
